Summer Fun

I know it has been a long time since I last posted, so I am posting some summer pictures. We have been having a great summer. We had a good crop of peas and spinach and tons of cherries in June. The apricots will be ready in the next week. YUM!!! We have had fun hiking this summer, and we got a pack to carry Keira. Of course, I always forget the camera, so you will have to imagine. Enjoy the pictures.

Fishing

We went to the Manti Pageant in June with my family. It was late, but the kids did okay.


Ryan was so excited for his birthday, he changed his mind on his cake several times. Finally he decided on chocolate with no icing. I thought that was a great idea. My mom came down the following weekend and she suggested we campout in the backyard for Ryan's b-day. Ryan and Matthew thought it was a great idea. It was fun, except none of the adults were able to sleep because of the wind we get at night. (ha,ha)



Jeremy had to work on the 3rd of July, so the kids and I headed for Wyoming. I joined with my brother Dallin, sister Danielle and some of their friends in a one day mud volleyball tournament. It was a lot more fun than I thought it would be, and the water wasn't as cold as I was fearing. We all banged up our knees, but had a blast and took 4th out of 20 something teams.

The kids have enjoyed this summer. They have even had 2 lemonade stands. They made $2.00 the first and over $3.00 the second.

Jeremy was on call Christmas Day, so my family was kind enough to come down to our house for Christmas. There are perks to being the only child married with kids. We took the Trax up to Temple Square. Quite the adventure. For New Years, we headed up to Wyoming. My parents have a cabin they bought with several friends. You can only get their on snowmachines. Again, quite the experience. Hopefully, I will have pictures of that soon.
